Reacties krijgen op de muziek die je maakt is áltijd leuk. Het feit dat mensen écht luisteren alleen al, maar ook de moeite nemen om vervolgens te delen wat ze van je muziek vinden.

Positieve feedback, natuurlijk, dat stimuleert en (toegegeven) is ook vleiend. Maar kritisch positief is ook prima; door iedereen die luistert maar zeker door collega muzikanten en singer-songwriters. De muzikanten van Tak&Band en ook Pieter zijn immers nooit uitgeleerd en soms wijst iemand je op iets dat je zelf niet (meer) hoort.

Tijdens Pieters en Mirjams verblijf in Spanje (zomer 2021) ontmoetten zij een zeer vriendelijke man, Dan Storup. Eerder in zijn leven professioneel muzikant, zo bleek. En nu al een tijdje…”Internationaal (wereld)reiziger.”

Pieter Tak is a guy I met at a campsite in Spain.

I heard some beautiful guitar chords and couldn’t resist sneaking in close to listen. All self-composed tunes to my taste…although influenced by music from my favorites such as Neil Young, CSNY (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, red.), Beatles, James Taylor and even vocal touches from Rebecca Bakken.

His melodies are composed in a personal and distinctive way and certainly his own style. Melodic, sweet and musically in perfect harmony with a soft and very dreamy voice accompanied by a guitar that gently howls chords that mix with the vocals and descriptive lyrics. Creating an intriguing atmosphere that reminds me of the 60’s early 70’s.

His music couldn’t be more “my cup of tea”! Can and should be enjoyed internationally! Pieter Tak’s music is just so cool.
