Hallo liefhebbers van TakandBand,
We hebben onze bandnaam ’n tikkeltje gewijzigd en meteen de website-titel daarbij aangepast.
Waarom deze wijzigingen?
Het &-teken bracht verwarring, was bij oproep onuitspreekbaar en de website heette weer net even anders: veel verwarring dus.
Vandaar de nu universeel begrijpelijke naam: TakandBand, met als naam van de website: http://www.takandband.nl

De naamswijziging is ondertussen op de hele website doorgevoerd. Tevens in de social media kanalen: Facebook en Instagram (tip: volg even, als je dat nog niet hebt gedaan).
Daarnaast richten we nog een nieuw YouTube kanaal in, luisterend naar de naam: TakandBand. Je kunt je eenvoudig online abonneren op dat kanaal, zodat je automatisch wordt gewezen op de nieuwe song van TakandBand. De december ’22 song No Simple Rules is daar al te vinden.

Net als vorig jaar tourden Pieter en Mirjam afgelopen mei en juni door Spanje en Portugal. Onderweg deden ze verschillende campings aan, waar natuurlijk live muziek werd gemaakt. En wie het muzikaal prettig vond, schoof gemoedelijk aan; met of zonder eigen instrument.
Traditiegetrouw vierden Pieter en Mirjam in de maanden mei en juni wederom vakantie in Spanje en Portugal.
Net als vorig jaar bezochten zij verschillende steden, dorpen en campings. O.a. werden als grotere steden Madrid, Toledo en Lissabon aangedaan, maar vooral zochten ze de kleinere gemeentes en campings op. De zon achterna…die in Spanje en Portugal nooit ver te zoeken is.
En wat doe je dan, als muzikantenduo binnen Tak&Band? Optreden natuurlijk!
In een heerlijk gemoedelijke sfeer werd op verschillende locaties het meegenomen instrumentarium opgesteld en gaven Pieter en Mirjam mini-concertjes. Bij de tent, bij het restaurant, op het gezamenlijke plein en ja, ook bij het kampvuur. Wie het muzikaal aangenaam vond, schoof een stoel aan en genoot van een gratis luisterconcert.
Dit leidde tevens, op meerdere plekken, tot samenspelen met eveneens vakantievierende -tot voor kort onbekende- collega-muzikanten. Want: muziek verbroedert!
Het bleef nog lang muzikaal gezellig op de camping…
Pieter maakte een korte sfeerimpressie:
Het weer is boven verwachting goed met dagen van meer dan dertig graden. We hebben een avondje voor de tent gespeeld, met goede belangstelling…

They’re not so long as my fingers plus nails they’re not that clever as well but who will read the lines in the darkness for them they can’t even spell
So I’m trying to suggest to a meeting in spring then we can hit the problem very close In secret we plan a plan for a plan and it’s called The Year Of The Toes !
