Wij van TakandBand speelden onze muziek in Engeland, Ierland, Spanje en Portugal en mochten veel bijval en applaus ontvangen!
Van mei t/m juli ’25 was TakandBand in intieme bezetting (Pieter en Mirjam) op Europese vakantietournee door Engeland, Ierland, Spanje en Portugal.
Bestaande vriendschappen werden onderhouden én er werden veel nieuwe vriendschappen gesloten. Wat ook tot veel foto’s, filmpjes en mooie feedback leidde.

De TakandBand februari song van 2025: “The Workers”. De songclip is gemaakt in samenwerking met studenten van BUas.
“The Workers” is de nieuwste song van de TakandBand, februari 2025.
Een lied over de zichtbare en ook onzichtbare werkers die het voor elk van ons mogelijk maken dat we leven zoals we leven.
Na Laura Comes Home en Toes alweer de derde song waar we in samenwerking met studenten van BUas Breda een songclip bij maakten.

Voorstelling over Vriendschap
In veel songs van Pieter Tak, uitgevoerd met TakandBand, is ’n rode draad te ontwaren die je kunt zien opgloeien tijdens de voorstelling onder het woord vriendschap.
Naast de liefde wordt ook de donkere zijde van de vriendschap bezongen.
Pieters teksten zijn beeldend, soms scherp of ironisch met verborgen humor, zoekend naar antwoorden.
Songs over de waarde van vrienden
Nog maar kort geleden bleek dat we zo geïsoleerd waren geraakt van vooral onze vrienden, dat we razend bewust werden van de waarde ervan.
Pieter kwam toen met songs als ‘Silence In The City’ over de nachtelijke eenzaamheid en met ‘Toes’, waar de verveling de fantasie voedde. ‘My Friend’ waarin een gestorven vriend herinnerd wordt. Om bij ‘That’s A Friend’ die rode draad weer kritisch op te pakken.
Nu we die tijd achter ons hebben gelaten, kijken we hetzelfde naar onze vrienden?
En hoe kijken zij naar jou?
